Terms and Conditions

Last Updated July 16, 2026

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Junto platform operated by Junto Pvt. Ltd ("Junto", "we", "us") at junto.travel. By creating an account or using the platform you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

The Platform

Junto is a marketplace and planning tool for group travel. Independent hosts design and run trips; travelers discover, join, and pay for them, or plan private trips with friends. Junto provides the platform that connects them - trips themselves are created and delivered by their hosts, and hosts are not employees or agents of Junto.

Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information on your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. We may suspend accounts that breach these Terms, misuse the platform, or put other users at risk.

Bookings and Payments

  • Booking a trip reserves your place with a deposit, with the balance due before the trip as shown at checkout. Payments are processed by Stripe.
  • Bookings are subject to host approval. If a host does not approve your request, your deposit is refunded in full.
  • Prices, dates, and inclusions are set by the host and shown on the trip page. Once a trip has confirmed participants, its key elements (price, dates, location, and capacity) are locked and can only change through a reviewed change request.
  • You are responsible for your own travel requirements - passports, visas, insurance, health requirements, and getting to the trip's starting point unless the trip states otherwise.

Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation terms are shown on each trip before you book. Refunds in V1 are handled manually by our team; approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. If a host cancels a trip, you receive a full refund of everything paid through the platform. Contact support@junto.travel for any booking issue.

Hosting

Hosts must provide accurate trip information, hold any licences or permits their trip requires, and deliver the experience as described. Publishing public trips requires verification by Junto. Junto may remove trips or hosts that breach these Terms or applicable law.

Content and Conduct

You keep ownership of content you post (photos, messages, reviews, trip plans) and grant Junto a licence to display it on the platform. Do not post content that is unlawful, misleading, or infringes someone else's rights, and do not use the platform to harass other users, send spam, or take payment for trips outside the platform to avoid these Terms.

Liability

Junto provides the platform "as is". To the extent permitted by law, Junto is not liable for the acts or omissions of hosts or travelers, or for losses arising from the trip itself, beyond the amounts paid to Junto for the affected booking. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes and Contact

We may update these Terms as the platform evolves; material changes will be announced before they take effect, and the date above always reflects the current version. Questions about these Terms: support@junto.travel.
